Burndy Hylink™ YS-A Series Uninsulated compression butt splice color-coded in pink color, features high conductivity, wrought aluminum construction with heavy-duty wall thickness for long lasting service. It offers high conductivity/low resistance and ductility for a superior combination of electrical and crimp forming properties. It accommodates conductor of size 500-KCMIL. Electro-tin-plating on splice's surface confirms durable long lasting corrosion resistance. Prefilled Penetrox™ oxide inhibiting compound enhances the life of butt splice connection.

Butt splice of size 1.32-Inch OD x 5.02-Inch, has long, chamfered barrel and strip length of 2-5/8-inches. Internally beveled barrel of this butt splice facilitates cable entry. Color-coded end caps of this butt splice have information printed about easy wire size and die-code identification.

This butt splice restricts foreign materials from entering and contaminating the connector prior to usage. It is perfect for use on all combinations of aluminum-to-aluminum, aluminum to copper and copper to copper conductor combinations. This butt splice is well suited for high voltage applications up to 600-Volts - 35-Kilo-Volts. Butt splice is UL listed, CSA certified and RoHS compliant.
